My buddy James called me on the 11th and asked me if I wanted to go to Georgetown with him to do some fishing. I checked the weather report and it said that winds would be 15-20mph, highs in the 60's and a 80% chance of rain, so I thought, why not? We left at 5 in the morning, got the boat in a little past 7 and took off. We found some holes, but with everything being stirred up below us, we were constantly on the move from spot to spot. Setting the anchor wasn't too bad, the worst part of the day is when we were moving and the splashes from the rough water would hit us, that's what sucked the most. James caught a toad fish, at one location we could tell the flounder were there because they kept biting the bodies off our minnows and leaving just the head on the hook. Finally the rain came down hard and we were wet, cold, and wind burned with no fish to take home. But hey, a day on the water is a better than a day at work.
