Shrimping 1

September and October mean a lot down south. College football, hunting and shrimping come to mind. Last night, the original scallywag, Steve O'Harra and I went fishing and shrimping down in McClellanville SC. I did all of the boat work, believe me it took awhile before I got my sea legs, and Steve did all of the casting. We started off fishing in a particular hole, we did ok, caught about 7 fish that we couldn't keep. 1 flounder and a the rest were spot tail. We left there and went to Steve's shrimping spot, put the poles down and baited them, then left about about a half mile away to a oyster bed and fished a bit there. We caught about another 10 spots then went back to the poles. We loaded a cooler full (legal limit) in an hour and a half. Here are a few pics.
